Default Highest flowing, quietest exhaust?

I have a b20.. I was considering Oval muffler with Kteller piping and resonator or RS-R Exmag. I know the exmag isn't too high flowing but I like the sound.

would the Kteller exhaust be as quiet with a resonator? would it still flow well with a resonator?

thanks

for WS2

Not sure how it flows compared to others but it is def quiet w/ a little deep noise.

Your question doesnt really have an answer because in most cases you pick one or the other, noise + flow well or quiet + restrictive.

i know I was hoping someone would have a magical exhaust for me.

but one more question. how does a resonator work? is it like a cat where the exhaust gases goes though something or is it just the walls that have sound deadening material?

TIA

I would try a RSR GT II and get a HUGE resonator welded in it.

If you want as free flowing as possible and as quiet as possible, you want a twin pass muffler design. Mugen makes a 2.38 inch twin pass muffler, and Hytech makes a 2.5 inch. The Hytech costs $400 for a G3 GSR, I don't know about the price of the Mugen. I've seen cheap knockoff versions of twin pass mufflers out there for around $60 I think, I don't know how they sound or how long they last, but you get what you pay for.

I don't have it, can't get myself to spend $400 + shipping from Cali to N.H. on a muffler, hehe. Hytech themselves is the only place I've seen there stuff for sale outside of a private sale. Their website is http://www.hytechexhaust.com
