Typical problems are inexperienced riders crashing into hedges. 4000 miles new tires at $300 a set, servicing $50 every 6K miles....as a rough estimate.

Thanks luke, the reason i ask is because i may be wrong but a BMW and a Honda motorcycles might have slightly different prices in parts. ive been riding for awhile but was spoiled because my brother took care of everything and now i have to do it myself since i moved away to ATL.

Hedges are the enemy. Proceed with caution.

You've been to England, right?
Hedges > *
My grandpa even landed his boss' Range Rover on top of a hedge once. That was neat.

I did not notice a realtively high hedge to land ratio when I was there... but I did see Shumacher crash into walls, not hedges. Perhaps if they installed some hedges at Silverstone he would not have been injured.

Hmmm, maybe Scotland has more hedges than England (I've spent most of my time in Britain in Perthshire)? Blairgowrie has hedges all over the place.

The Knights Who Say 'Ni' disagree.
Shrubbery = a collection of shrubs growing together.
Hedge = a fence formed by a row of closely planted shrubs or bushes.
Crashing into a shrubbery probably hurts less than crashing into a hedge.
