well i walk to my teggy today and i unlock it with the keyless remote and the parking lights/ tailights dont blink i was like wtf but it made the sound (churp churp) and you could hear the doors unlock so whatever i get in turn on my lights my dashlights and gauge lights dont turn on (i dont have aftermarket gauges) so i assumed it was a fuse problem and the fuse was bad so i put a new one in.. but they still dont work (also when you have the door ajar it doesnt make the annoying sound) but cd player works, the bright light indicator works... so if anyone could help me out that would be great... (ps i did search but the search thingy is down) please help asap that would be great thanks alot guys!

ok well.. it keeps shorting out its the instrument fuse does anyone know like where a good place to start looking for the problem would be ( like where are integras known to do that at? ) thanks again

 

What year is your teg I didn't see but that happened to my car(95gsr front end conversion) and it ended up being several fuses all the lights would blink except the side parking lights. The defroster did not work the beep beep for lights left on did not work. I'd check all the fuses again

 

its a 00 gsr, all fuses are find except the one for the instrument fuse (i assume that it controls.... light flash when lock and unlock car, gauge lights, the bulb that lets you see all the different air settings (but when you press them in the indicator light of that specific setting will come on) my check eng light still is on and when you turn the brights and turn igniton on all those lights come on just not the gauge lights.... all other lights work though and everything else workds, power locks, windows, defroster, windshield wipers, sunroof, power mirrors, emergency blinkers, and headlights/parking lights come on but just not when i lock and unlock the car w/ the remote like they use too (and tailights) thanks for the reply hope you have an idea cause im lost !

 

is it factory or aftermarket alarm?

 

aftermarket its the low end viper alarm.. but the alarm still works and it churps

 

does it light up the lights when you arm and disarm (outside)?

 

sorry just read the original post again. check the wire from the alarm to parking light wire. maybe shorting out?

check fuse for alarm, check connections on all exterior interior light connectors. check all fuses maybe you checked the wrong one gl
