October Track Events @ Summit Point
The NASA Summit Point event is October 15/16, and there is still room in all groups.
There is also room in Group Two at Summit Point on Friday the 14th of October, so you could make a three-day weekend of it if you wanted.
(Be warned that Summit Point Group Two is the "advanced" group and you will either need to be previously certified by Summit Point or be able to get NASA people to testify to your experience.)
Summit Point (for Friday at the track): 307-425-6512 $225, four (sometimes five) 20 minute sessions.
NASA-Virginia: http://www.nasaracing.net/Summit_Oct_05/event.htm and click on the link after "Registration Open" near the top. $299, six 20 minute sessions over two days.

Registered for Group 1. Group 2 was full, but I only have a handful of autocrosses and Expo 4 under my belt anyways.
I've never done a NASA event before, anyone want to chime in on how they go?

You will be very impressed with how well these events are put on! Hopefully you have Dan as your classroom instructor, he is cool as ****! If you dont have a NASA membership you will have to get one before registering for the event. I have only done one event with NASA and it was at Summit. Fun track, a few things i would improve if in the power to do so, but otherwise a great time. Sooo close to me, and wish i had the money. Id probably roll down just to chill though. See you all there if i can make it

I'm signed up for 3, Sander's signed up for 2. Friday would be nice, but I'm breaking the bank as it is. For Saturday, shenanigans include some late night race kaa tuning and maybe hitting up Vixens
I'm gonna try camping, if it won't be too cold. Otherwise, there's the Shoney's.

Hotel Information:
Shoney's Inn: (540) 665-1700 | Rate of $52 if mention NASA.
Hampton Inn: (540) 678-4000 |
Red Roof Inn: (540) 667-5000 |
I usually stay at the Hampton Inn, but they have been booked for that weekend for quite some time. Shoney's Inn isn't too bad, and it's much cheaper.

And yes, as Jon said, NASA MA knows what they're doing, great bunch of people to deal with and they always put on an excellent show.
