Blowing bubbles in coolant is a bad habit
Tried serching but the server is down...
I went for a drive today and as I came home and opened up the hood. I've noticed the smell of coolant. As I checked the coolant reservoir, it was overflowing and blowing bubbles!!!
WTH is going on??? Why would it do that? Is it that it's out of coolant in the radiator that it's blowing out bubbles into the reservoir???

that would definately be the first thing to check, if that checks out ok and the coolant level is not low and there are no air pockets in the cooling system (if you turn on the heater with the engine warmed up and no hot air is coming from the vents, you have air in the cooling system). you have may have anyone of these things causing your car to overheat.
1. bad thermostat
2. radiator fan is not turning on when the car is hot for one reason or another.
3. plugged radiator
4. faulty waterpump
5. blown headgasket
check the simple stuff first, before replacing or repairing more major parts.

bad thermostat if it is pushing coolant into the resevoir.. and bubbles means' it is boiling. get a new cap and change the thermostat.. don't forget to bleed the coolant system when you are done!! get all of the air out!
well, it was hot....the reservoir was full of coolant...causing it to overflow! But it was blowing bubbles! Welps...NEW THERMOSTAT it is (Spoom maybe) and NEW CAP (I'll make that a Spoom too possibly)
Thanks folks!
