Default b17 w/237,600 miles handle a turbo running 5-7psi??

looking to turbo my 92 gsr with b17 with 237,600 miles..

everything runs good, going to have a leak down test done and see how it is. if the numbers are good, do you think it would handle a turbo kit tuned for 5-7 psi??

not looking to run big boost on stock motor with high miles.. i just want some boost.. im sick of the shitty power on this car. will it handle the boost? i know rebuilding with be better, but i dont have any money for that.

and how cheap can a turbo kit be put together with decent parts??? and Hondata to tune my baby

you can boost it..but i wouldnt recommned it if mileage is that high....i would rebuild it first..and get low compression pistions........and not matter what if you wanna boost you have to get the pistions... if you don't want your motor to blow on the test drive...i'd say..save money get all the parts and do everything at onces....saves the time of putting everything together and stripping it all apart again just to add new parts.

it wont blow your motor..but just think about this...a motor that already draws a large amount of air.....then having an additional air being shoved in to it.......already dosn't sound right. ahahah and longterm yes it will mess your stuff up!
