Default Classic Car

Hey ya'll I was just bored and wondered now that my car is 17 almost 18 (soon to be legal! ) How long before it is considered classic car or how long before they will stop doing emmissions testing on it. I would figure every state would be different but just bored. BTW in MD it was pre 1977 for no emmissions. Late and Amber makes me speed........

IDK about VA but here in CA it's pre 1975 dont have to be smoged and (for me ) considered classic. it's a 30 year. so once our EF's are 30 years old (if rust is not empowering them) we wont have to smog them any more. in 2023 u don have smog it anymore

25 years or older to be considered classic, although you can get classic/collector car insurance after 15 years. As for emmisions it varies by state or country
