it is a Technical Service Bulletin. Not a recall, so it does cost to have the work done.

Most 5th Gen. Preludes have this problem....I have this problem with mine, so I usually just double shift when going into 5th gear, and it won't happen

the service manager may agree to do the repair at no charge. it usually helps when asking for a goodwill repair to be a regular custoemr of the service department and have purchased the car at that dealer though.

I posted the TSB a while back. Do a search for it - i'll try to find it myself.

So basicly its up to them then if they want to do it for free ? Or do you still have to pay labor or somethin? Because i dont wana pay for something that was not manufactured correctly.

If you haven't already, try bleeding the clutch system. My lude did the same thing. After i bled it the grind went away. Also you may want to try some synchromesh. This is a controversial topic on HT but ive had it im my tranny for about 15k miles and haven't had any grinding problems.
