Default OBD2 Alternator in an OBD1 vehicle?

My friend is going to run an H22 Euro R swap and was curious to know if he can use the alternator that comes with the swap. The changeover will include the harness and i guess if we have the OBD2 plug, then its basically a matter of rearranging the wiring to OBD1 specs? Is this correct?

get the motor here, look at the alternator from the OBD2 and OBD1 and see whats different. that should determine it. or go to your local parts dealer and see if there is any difference in the alternator part number between 95 and 96 for the prelude.
