for the ecu you have to options,1aquire an obdo jdm pr3 ecu(a-8 is vtec solenoid,b-5 vtec pressure switch,b-19 knock sensor you also need to add an extra 02 sensor)or you can buy an obdo to obd1 ecu adaptorwith an p28 ecu(a-4 vtec solenoid d-6 vtec pressure switch ) this ecu needs no knock sensor.

we need to know your current setup. If you have a civic standard, wiring is going to need to be done.

And for christ sake, get a new transmission. I had that tranny on my swap and it ran like a bag of *** thrown at a fence because of the gear ratios. I got the ZC tranny and it felt like a new engine.

edit: why is that transmission brand new?!?!?!?!?! thats a shitty tranny to buy, as I got my ZC for only $100. If you got it for free I can understand, and if you are trying to just get it running i guess thats cool too, but we need more info. What is currently in the car?

Convert to mpfi..
Convert to obd1..
Get a p28..
Get atleast a dx 5spd tranny..

And an msd ignition is a waste on a stock motor that probably will never see past 7000-8000 rpm..

I only see msd igntions in some cars of people that I hang out with, but they all have 9-11 second domestics. The stock ignition works just fine.
