can someone please post a pic, cuz ive yet to see one with a 2.5" exhaust..

why would the aftermarket ones be 60mm if they cam larger than that stock..

also the JDM R cat was no more than 55mm at the exit.

any ideas?

You are correct that JDM Integra Type R's do not come with a 2.5" catback stock. However, I have yet to see anyone on this board claim otherwise. Who is it that you are directing that assumption to?

 

I know b18c1_powered_si had some JDM ITR 2.5" mid pipes for sale for a while.

 

On the same note...when I asked him whether the pipe is ACTUALLY 2.5", his reply was "Yes, this has been proven many times now!"

Me too... only the JDM did not have the bottle necks.

How could they be 2.5"? The Japanese have been using the metric system for eons for crying out loud.

I thought i might be mistaken.. but i have seen some JDM r exhausts and they werent anything special.. someone should make an affordable 2.5" quiet exhaust.

 

Kakimoto R is a quiet 2.5" exhaust. But I don't know what is affordable to you!!

 

I actually have a JDM ITR b-pipe. It is larger than the USDM one. I never did measure it though. I lined a USDM, a JDM, and a Mugen side by side. The JDM fell right in the middle. Not quite as large as a Mugen but definitely larger than a USDM. The JDM is better in quality but not on par with Mugen.
