Default Removing back seats

How do I remove the back seats in my DC2? I couldn't seem to find where the mounting points are that I need to unbolt. I'm sure someone has done this before.

Fold the seats down and remove the rear carpet that attaches to the back of the seats. And you will see some nuts.

If your looking to take them out for weight purposes i dont think its worth it since they dont weight much.
But if your taking them to have that "gutted" look or to avoid having rear passengers, then go for it.

all back seat all together weights in like 1-2 lbs at most i think. didnt use a scale, just went out to the garage and picked them up. effect is minimal.

actually....there's no nuts. There should be one 10mm bolt and that's it. Once you've removed the carpet backing on the top portion of the rear seats, you just "unhook" them from the center piece and pull them out. After that, you'll see the 10mm bolt that attaches the bottom portion to the chassis. Remove that then swing the back portion of the bottom up and pull them out.

i stand corrected, i just weighted the upper portion of the back seats. 10lbs each of the upper seats. had too much crap on the bottom so i didnt weight that, but the bottom part is definitely lighter because its basicly all foam instead of the top with metal backings.

mine are the leather ones btw, dont know if that makes a difference.

You cant just unhook them from the centre, theres those little clips on each side where you have to remove first. Doing that will allow you to shift the seat to the left/right a bit from where you then can unhook the seat

I know....but I from experience, whenever I removed my rears, it was easier if I pushed the top portion to the side and got it out that way. But...either way it works.

Yeah but in order to be able to push them to the sides you need to remove those clips on the sides, unless you dont have them in your car??

Your car will look goofy if you strip it, keep it stock it doesn't affect much unless your hardcore.
