Default do prelude crossmembers....

for the older like 94's do the front crossmembers bolt on or is it welded?

99% sure because the 5th gen is bolted. I would assume that the 4th gen is the same way.

bolted. 100% positive. (i've taken all of the suspension out of my car and know it well)

it would be kind of stupid to weld it in. especially if it was bent and you needed to replace it.

i just bent mine on my 94 accord, if it was not bolted i would be throwing my car away, after pulling the motor

Its' bolted in. You remove the center brace running to the rear crossmember, detach the suspension pieces from each side of it, and drop it down. Oh yeah, you got the front motor mount on top as well.

I believe you could replace it with an aftermarket tubular unit, if you wish.
