Does that green plug have 2 prongs? In my mind i can almost visualize it fitting into the Alt? a little small maybe. Plug in the eavc and then see if the plug fits the length to anything else. With a b16a it's usually plug in and go.....At least on the HF harness it is. JDM i'm not too positive.

good luck

that's a long stretch....It still has to make the bend around the IM and then to the front of the block?

Okay, i mistook the green plug for another one. The green is your knock sensor wire. the sensor directly under the IM on the back. Should have only one wire right?

Check and see where the round clear one goes. looks to me like its the IACV since its on the back of the engine and not the front.

The plug in the last picture can be left unhooked.
I know you said you checked your grounds, but double check the small ground that goes to the thermostat housing.

Well i'm assuming your car is an si, and you DID use your original harness correct?
If you did, there are really only three grounds: ground on tranny, valvecover, and
thermostat housing. Your car should at least try to start. Are there any codes?

Next thing i would try, is to open the throttle and spray a shot of starter fluid
directly into the manifold. Now providing your spark is good, it should start for a
second. If not, your problem may lie with the distributor.

If it starts on the starter fluid, and the fuel pump IS priming, then the problem is
fuel. SLOWLY crack open the feed on the fuel rail and see if you've got fuel
pressure. Best to have a friend turn the key on for a split second. If you do, then
next step is to test one/all of the injector plugs with a test light or voltmeter, to
make sure they're pulsing. Its common for injectors to seize up, if they have been
sitting for a long time.

the black boot on the plug indicates it is for something around the oil filter

No, it doesnt matter which way you plug them in. Those are the wires for the
thermoswitch (for the fan). It is basically just a temperature operated on/off switch,
so it doesnt matter which way they are hooked up. (On newer engines, Honda
moved the thermoswitch to the thermostat housing).

So the fuel pump is not priming... If the engine grounds are good, and the pump was fine before the swap, try throwing your stock SI ecu back in there. The ecu has an output for the fuel pump, so there is a slim chance thats bad. The car should even start on the SI ecu as a test.

This may be a dumb question but have you checked your main relay? I havent seen it stated anywhere so i figured id ask. If you think that it might be the relay, put your hand on it and try to crank the car, if you dont feel it click its bad and thats your prob. If thats it try cranking the car and tap on the relay with a screwdriver, should start right up.
