Hey! I had a question about my system.. or rather what I want/will be doing..
At the moment I have 4 Sony XS-V1635X 6.5" 3-Way Speakers, doors & rear, on my Sony CDX-M8805X or so modle Headunit.
I want to/will be adding at least 3 Sony XS-V6945X 6"x9" 4-Way Speakers to my system. And I was wondering what size, type, and if how many amps I should use/need.
So, there will be 7 speakers total, 4 6.5"s & 3 6"x9"s.
I will not be adding subs or anything, just these speakers.. Oh and the two tweeters in my dash.
These Speakers I've listened are all the Speciatly Series from Sony, the all Grey/Silver ones, which put out more than the all Red or combo Red & Grey/Silver.
I was just wondering what you guys thought, let me know! Thanks!
*Edit: Oh and I would want to have a Sony AMP also..

There is really no need for that many speakers. Please do not use 3 6x9's in addition to the 4 6.5's you already have. You could do so much better if you spent your money in other places. I would recommend sticking with just the 4 6.5's and using a 4 channel amp. If you insist on sticking with sony, you should just get whichever sony 4 channel amp that provides the closest to the recommended RMS power to the speakers. Look for a four channel amp with between 50 and 75 watts per channel. If you aren't happy with the way it sounds after this, get subs rather than wasting your time on 6x9's
Also, just so you know. Sony car audio is really not very good and you should seriously consider an amp from another manufacturer. I have installed a lot of audio for friends and every single person who I have installed a sony amp for has had a problem with it.
