Default how much nitrous for i/h/e, cam H22A?

OK just as it says... here is the setup.

JDM H22A
walbro 255 fuel pump
an-r header (merge collector)
2.5" kteller exhaust
65MM (itr bored throttlebody)
Accord R intake manifold
AEM CAI
AEM EMS
S2S2 cams
GE cam gears
bkr8eIX (NGK iriduim plugs)
REVS valvesprings and retainers
.030 headshave with 5 angle valve job with mild runner work (11.4 to 1 compression)
stock headgasket w/ copper coat
NX main line wet nitrous kit (with bottle heater, blanket, etc)

ok so how much nitrous is fairly safe on this engine?? Looking for about 210 WHPall-motor and was thinking of jetting for a 50 shot and running about 2-4 degrees retard for a total timing of about 22-24 degrees to be safe. any ideas thoughts?? am I going to blow my engine? Need some advice.

If your running the AEM EMS and only a 50 shot i'm sure you'll be fine, tuning is important. It seems a 50 shot would put you over your 210whp mark by far, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. With the EMS would you be able to have different settings for say street and track? I'm not all that familiar with the AEM EMS.

your motor with that setup could take a 50 shot easy.

meant 210 whp naturally aspirated... prolly around 250-260 WHP with spray i guess. Just want to make sure since shift points will prolly be around the 8k mark and with more compression and added stress on internals dont want the 50 shot to blow the whole deal. thanks.

for safety, i would get a window switch so you dont spray between shifts. Cuz if you misshift at 8k while spraying nitrous....bye bye to motor.

That setup is good, I run a similar setup with no problems yet (at least none nitrous related! Hope you have a manual tensioner!)

AEM EMS has one so yes got that covered. as well u can progressively control it thru AEM. great system.

got that one covered as well. installed manual tensioner about 3k ago. thanks. btw i would be very interested in hearing about your setup and seeing dyno times as well as quartermile times. thanks for all the replys.

Im running crower 2B cams and valvetrain, URSS pullies, AEM gears and fuel system, hondata s200, type s pistons......in process of putting in s2k mani and vibrant(maybe) header, and of course NX efi kit with goodies. Thats the basics of the setup, I pulled the motor out of the car before I did final tuning. (I broke the tensioner(auto) 500 miles into the breakin.) So now its going into an eg hatch where it will be dynoed soon. I did run the juice and a mix of the other mods before I finished the setup that I had. The only dyno that I do have was with only IHE when it was in the lude still and a 35 shot and it made 200 whp and 200 ft lbs (untuned, it only made 160 whp NA)

So hopefully it will make much better numbers with all the changes Ive made.

I've ran an 65 shot in stock form for months w/o any tuning and my recent compression test show good number across. This is on a 120k motor.

W/ 200 ft lbs, you should be like 230+ whp I'd think...
