regarding turbo`d s2k`s..
I cant wait to see some 11 sec s2k's. Personally i would rather have a 11 sec s2k with appropriate suspension, brakes, etc than i would any ferrari, lambo, lotus, etc. IMO the s2000 is one of the best looking cars on the market, if only it packed more punch....

you know what the resell value of a lambo is
haha drive it for 5 days sell it for 250K buy an 11second s2000 and a house -=Z
I dunno. I have driven in a Diablo a few times, they are fairly fast, buy my turbo hybrid hatch is actually still faster. I believe the one that i was in was a Vt...they run like low 13's...not that impressive IMO. I like the look, handling and overall feel of the s2k over alot of exotics. I have been in a few ferraris, lambos, lotus, etc and they are awesome cars, but i cannot justify their price tags. I could easily get 20g's and buy a eg with a blown engine and make it Way faster, handle better and brake better. The argument always follows something like..."but you get girls in a hatch", lol. I dunno i am about performance over looks, so if a girl doesnt like my car she can walk, lol.
Also speedcraft makes a beatiful kit, but the price tag is ridiculous. I can better their kit with a standalone for the same amount of money. Going custom really is the way to go if you have access to a welding machine and can get some decent prices on parts. I just have to wait till i finish dumping money into my b16a getting built before i start on my project s2k. Very soon though...very very soon it will be lurking out there. Running 60-1, with haltech....

stock top speed of a ferrari will kill 99.98 % of hondas (salt topspeed car and steph)
as for the diablo it will kill 100% though steph runs 180mph in the 1/4 i dont think it has much more gearing
get a diablo or ferrari and throw in 1/4 mile gears and have a go at it....
but with 240K you could have a tight *** s2k and a nice FAT downpayment on a home

I hear ya on the top speed thing. I personally dont feel comfortable in cars going over 140mph. Like i always say to my friends...i would rather have a car that can accelerate ***** out to 120, then a 200mph car, but that is just me.
