Default CARBON FIBER HOOD

im looking for a carbon fiber hood vented. this one has a decent price, but the pictures are not of a 2ndgen hood. im not buyin it without a decent picture. it could be the ugliest hood for all i know. is this a shitty hood?

It says its a VIS hood. Go to http://www.visracing.com and check out the hood as advertised on this ebay ad.

well since it is supposedly VIS, fitment should be great, and depending on ur taste u might or might not like the hood scope look and ya go to their official site you'll see a lot of pictures

careful with ebay CF hoods.. most(not all) are low quality and dont fit right.

this guys a power seller, ill take my chances. but how the F*** do i know what my hood will look like??? he sent me an email saying he has no more pictures of it. i think it will look good based on what ive seen, what do you think?

Alot of times they just use universal pictures, but that is not a DA hood. You just get the picture.

id say go with an oem style cf hood, much cleaner than a lot of the designs they have...

why would i regret a scoop???? my engine gets so damn hot, when i pop the hood my intake is hot, the fan will stay on after my car is off.. its ridiculous

i got the same problem with my engine gettin so hot, u can fry an egg on my valve cover, i think it is because i got a fluidyne aluminum radiator and the aluminum gets really hot, i already have a carbon fiber hood, but i really think getting a vented hood would help release some hot air from the engine bay. ive seen that vis hood in person and it looks nice. but i was wondering if rain water gets in through the vents. or water when you are washing your car?????

def. go vis, they are the best hoods, and the clear coat will last longer then anyother carbon fiber hood!!!

just to tell you those hood are not vented. theres a pieace of plastic there to withold water from spillin into your engine bay after rain.

Thats dumb, they don't sell stock hoods that are just carbon fiber replicas. I want a CF copy of the stock hood, IMO it looks better than rice vents that serve zero purpose.

ummm....I HAVE this hood on my JDM front. It IS vented. And no...it did not come with any plastic piece underneath.
