sae brakes and suspension as the Da's the engine has 160hp and i think 117tq(basically a stroked b16)with one of the most agressive geared b-series trannies. its obd1 seeing obd1 is from 92-95. BTW the chassis code is Db2

Yeah, I was going to say there is no such thing as a "DA GS-R" - it's a DB2
& yes they are rare

considered a square motor... Bore 81mm x Stroke 81.4mm... 9.7:1 cr

the crank, rods and pistons are different than the B16, the rest is pretty much the same

you could put i think youll need to get custom length rods or your pistons modified because the b16a ans b17a deck heights are shorter than the b18a/b,b16b,b20, and b18c/c5

The short geared YS1 (The transmission code) is actually considered to be the shortest geared Honda transmission ever made. Given that the gears are so short you have the ability to accelerate faster, hence why so many people knab them up quick.

By the way, you don't want a DB2 (G2 GSR) they're pieces of ****. No one likes those things... I'd be ashamed.

I'd agree. in some ways its ****(NO LOW END POWER) but i do LOVE my 92 DB2.

Also, there were only 4000 made from 92-93.. so very hard to find these days if you take accidents and scrapped into considerations.

the 1.7L VTEC motor.. its nice.. and from reading some information in honda-tuning, there is very little stress on the piston rings and walls on these motors.

I wish they were 800-1000 pounds lighter.. that would change the whole feel of the car.

tranny = shortest geared tranny Honda every brought to the street.

and a 8000 Redline.. the cars sounds and feels great about 4000 RPM.

tranny feels good. has armrest. um....no 3rd brake light on rear windsheld, it's on the spoiler. doesn't have middle x-member bracing. that's all i can think of right now. they're pretty quick also.

hmm im sure you can find alot of people here that will disagree with u
so basically the transmission helps alot in acceleration but like a B16 theres not much torque are b18 part interchangable? like header valve trains and such?

omg looked at it today.Im so kicking myself right now.It was in the paper for one day and like 7 people showed up almost the same time. There was an older lady that pulled in the same second I did just in front of me.It was owned by an older high class couple that kept this thing new.It was soooooo clean and garaged the whole time they owned it.
It was the cleanest 2nd gen iver ever seen. She decided to buy it for her son that just blew up two toyotas.Too bad its going to some ricer, damn sad.If only i was 10 seconds earlier. It would be in my damn yard right now.My brother even tried offering 3500 instead of 2900 but the seller wanted to be fair so we are looking around again. So if anyone knows of one for sale in the albany ny area selling a 3rd gen gsr.We would be interested.Damn spoiled ricers.

you shoulda known man.. with those kinda cars you must INSIST that they let you down there ASAP! thats how I got my 95 GSR, there was 30 people that wanted it, and I hella insisted that the guy let me come down that same day instead of the following day like everyone else. I kept insisiting so he said ok come to my work. and thats how I got my car

i cant believe she wouldnt sell it for 3500, thats ******* dumass rich people, 600 dont mean nothing to them cuz they wanna be "fair" if it was me I'd be like **** that you two gotta start bidding on it! hahaha

2900 for a 92 gsr 106k one owner thats one hell of a deal i would pick it up even though i dont like DA you know how good a deal that is
