Default Getting the Spoon ABS lip but doesn't come with mounting hardware

Hey guys I've scored a deal with either a ABS or Urethane Spoon Sports style lip (NOT MUGEN V2/Spoon V2) but it doesn't come with any mounting hardware.

Any ideas on how I would go about mounting the lip? does the CF spoon lip come with an L-bracket to install it?

any ideas would be appreciated

If it's abs, screws should be the only thing you need to put them on

thanks guys, talked to the owner about it and another friend on installing it.

I thought I'd have to make L-brackets but that doesn't seem to be the case

hey guys, what if the lip is fiberglass??? would I still go about using self tapping screws? or just use standard 10mm bolts, washers and nuts?

in ontario aswell,
got mine from a friend almost 2 years ago, i dont recall mine being stamped but i could be wrong.

my lip held up pretty good actually, took alot of scrapes, sometimes even smacked it on the highway cause my car was alittle low, but it stayed on there. the screws on the side of the bumper actually ripped out one time, but the lip was still there.

its pretty beat up now, but it lasted alot longer than i thought it would.

back in 2003

You can, but years ago, when I had a fiberglass Spoon style lip, I used nut/bolt/washer combos to hold it more secure and to help avoid theft. I installed the bolts in an order, one facing up, and one facing down all the way across so it would be a bitch for a theif to take off, unless they took off the whole bumper

you should try riveting it on the sides to avoid theft and also drill a few small holes on the bottom of the lip to where it corresponds on the bumper and use nuts and bolts to secure it .. just take a trip to your local home depot or loews or even a hardware store
