I've been looking for threads that explain a little on how the E-Manage tool works, and I have a basic question, does this plug to the OEM ECU, or do you need an OBDI setup?

 

Look into the hondata s300

The s300 is a chip-like thing that fits right inside the ecu.......meaning, you can't see it.

And you have to cut out a little section to be able to plug a usb cable into it.......its very simple, cheap, and great for tuning.

 

I've been looking for info on the s300, but no luck, only find about the s200. and the price i saw in http://www.horsepowerfreaks.com was like $1650. And when you say its a chip like, it means i have to a tune shop and get a custom a case for the chip, or will it fit in the original ECU case? I know these questions might sound stupid, but I'm in the dark when it comes to engine management stuff.

$735 for the entire thing is a steal to me -because if you look at the prices on Hondata - the price would be like 850+ for everything.
