can somebody tell me what the maximum bore size you can use for an all motor application on a b series motor if its sleeved...?????????

i know golden eagle will do a special sleeve for all motor only up to 91mm, but i dont kno if they were only speaking specifically for a prelude motor...

 

I read somewhere about 94mm. But dont quote me on it, it could have just been 91mm.

87mm on most aftermarket sleeves. 84.5mm with a Dart block, and about 81.5mm on stock sleeves. Most of the time 85mm is as big as you really want to go with a street motor, certain companies have had good amounts of success with 86mm motors. Most of the time anything larger than 85 is reserved specifically for race motors that won't see a lot of use before being torn down and rebuilt.

 

thanks.. that sounds more like it.. i didnt think 91mm in a b series block would really be a possibility.. a h-series. yeah since its 87mm stock... so an extra 4mm isnt that bad.. but 10mm...wow...

 

ya i heard Max bore for all motor is 85mm... but personally i would go 84mm, that way you have room to bore it again if something goes wrong.
