Default stock headers or crushed dc?

i just got a new b16a swap from hmotorsonline.com. i was wondering if i should keep the stock header on the swap or use my 4-2-1 dc that is crushed in the bottom. someone said that even if they are crushed it doesnt matter. it becomes a problem when there are cracks or holes. i dont know what to do.

depends how crushed it is. if its restricting it, then its no good. It's probably still better than the stock manifold though.

if it was my car i would put on the stock exhaust manifold and then later on buy a new header and put that on. that's just what i would do. I don't like messed up sh*t on my car though.

you can easily fix your header by taking a peice of pipe about 1/4 of an inch smaller then your tubes. bang one side flat with the other side to create an angle, then heat your header where the bend is and start shoving the peice of pipe through the tube that is bent.you can slowely work the crushed part completely out of it
