need anyone with serious ATTS experience
i work at an independent honda shop and we have a 97 that is being a pita. this is the first time to work on the ATTS system.
it first came in from a car lot (a good lot, they got it from auction and we check em out), had 3 codes. a 40 something, 42 i think, 64, and 78. cleared the codes and 64 came right back. so i went through the chart and found the left pressure switch broken off (250 from honda
). now dont forget i did check the wiring to the comp from the switch.
i got that replaced and when i first drove it it gave a 62 for the right sensor, but i found nothing there. cleared it, checked the fluid which was ~2/3 of a quart low. which is half of what it holds. went and drove it some more and now im only getting the 65. as a side note i did do the self tests but it flashes a 79 almost immediatly, so all i could do is drive and wait for a code. and that 65 comes on as soon as i turn.
so thats where i am. now obviously this was a hack job. the tranny was into as its painted, the sensor broke, and one of the cooler lines on top is missing the clamp and leaking (and is a bitch to get to). im thinking there is a fair chance the atts unit is toast, but i have nothing to go by. the helms says nothing but 'oil pressure sensor" for that entire range of codes, and gives only 1 chart. i have a 97-99 book, perhaps the later years book gives more info? though the scanner is more specific with 'right pressure switch fixed failure', but that means nothing to me at this point.
anyway, i have a feeling this car is going back on auction...

you cant do that the sh block is different. It has no holes for the intermediate shaft for the axle. You need a non sh block and tranny. or drill holes in the sh block to mount it, but thats hacking.
