I really need some help. I just did the valve seals on my crx. It still smokes liek a chimney. I can get it to blow smoke when holding the revs at 5000rpms or higher, or if I engine brake then mash the gas. I did a compression test and got 175 across. So whats next, leakdown test? Will that tell me the condition of the rings?
If its not rings, its turbo seals, the turbo has some in and out play, but it smokes so much that sometimes it misfires.

 

Look in your charge pipe and see if there is oil in there.. Also check your downpipe for oil..
