Hey whatsup, I’m helping a homie find a 1994-2001 Acura Integra that he’s very interested in buying…He would like to get a Type-R or a GSR, but he really wants the Type-R (who doesn’t)….anyway we were both wondering about what the lower trim level Integra’s (RS, LS, GS) have to offer? What are the differences on the exterior, interior, and engine? Please reply, thanks!
P.S. – I already used the search tool, but didn’t find what I was looking for.

Base RS and luxury LS Integras carry a 142-horsepower, 1.8-liter dual-overhead-cam 4-cylinder engine. Essentially the same as that installed in previous-generation Integras, it develops two more horsepower. A new and different dual-cam 1.8-liter engine, similar in size but more potent, powers the GS-R. That one employs Honda's VTEC (variable valve-timing) system and makes 170 horsepower. A 5-speed manual gearbox was standard on all models. All except the GS-R could have an electronic 4-speed automatic transmission instead.
In 1997, Acura introduced a highly modified version of the 1.8-liter from the GS-R for its high-performance "Type-R" model. All-new connecting rods are hand-torqued, ports are hand-polished, while a new forged-steel crankshaft comes with counterweights made with special metallurgy techniques to reduce vibration and bending fatigue. The revised engine includes oval intake springs, dual-exhaust valve springs, thin-stemmed valves and lighter die-cast aluminum pistons with molybdenum-coated skirts. Additional oiling passages and new crowns help boost the compression ratio from 10.0:1 to 10.6:1.
In addition, a special camshaft gives higher lift and longer overlap to match a bigger-bore exhaust and freer-breathing exhaust manifold, which features a single wide runner per cylinder rather than smaller twin passages. Finally, the crackle-red finish on the engine's cam cover help set it apart visually from the GS-R's engine.
Type R's have 5 lug rims, where everything else has 4 lug. The side moldings on the ls, gs, and gsr are not on the type R. Type R's have an 8" spoiler and all the rest (if they have them) are more like 3". The type R redlines at 8500 and the GSR redlines at 8000.
Interior- Type R's have Recaro racing seats, mostly black with red stitching. There is no armrest in Type R's. The Type R has a titanium shift **** and the shift boot is black with red stitching. All the other models are either black leather or cloth.
LS/GS compression is 9.0:1
I know this is a lot, but I hope it helps

Most of that was cut and paste. I don't know everything. You'd be surprised what you can find on google.com. Thanks for adding more to it.
for you!!!

you really cant besides the rs coming with hubs and depending on the year the ls came with alloy wheels. I think 94 and 95 ls came with hubs. Someone correct me if im wrong.
Here is a good link that has differences between the trims:

very very simple. RS has no sunroof LS comes standard with sunroof.
The Integras dont really have marked badging but u can usually easily tell which is which.
RS - No Sunroof = DC4
LS - Sunroof, Vin = DC4
GSR - Vtec badge, Sunroof, Vin = DC2, all are in manual transmission
Type R - No sunroof, marked type R, Vin = DC2, all in manual transmission

true there are lots of other small things but many modify those. such as the shaved doors only on Type Rs but many GSR/LS/RS/GS will have them. and Type Rs have a diff size side skirt. but the smalls things are so frequently changed u cant tell the difference.

The only exception to that was the LS SE that came with the GSR rims.
