Default searched! temperature and fan problem

i searched already trust me i search but i want to know

can the car be overheating even though the needle is a little below the middle?

when i got my car that needle always near C, it would go down when I drive, and go up, but never went past 1/3.

i just changed my thermostat today. idle for like 5 minutes and the needle was only at C still. dont really get to test it, but now that needle goes to a little bit under the middle, which it never was before

my question is that i fixed my thermo, my fan still doesnt turn on, it still takes forever to warm up at idle, so whats the problem? and can my engine be overhearing without me knowing it?

The temperature sender is the temp you see at your temp gauge. The Coolant temp sensor & switch is what your ecu & wiring see.

I dont think ive heard of a 90's honda temp gauge not working and causing somebodies car to overheat, but it is definately possible.

Hint: if you ever see steam coming out from under your hood TURN OFF THE ENGINE :-)

You needed to turn the heater on HOT and HIGH speed in order to circulate the coolant around with the water. Let it reach operating temp and then drain! U can do this one more time and then finall fill it back up with the 50/50 mix.

How did you lose your bleeder screw? You would have a hole in ur cooling system so maybe your exaggerating or lying to me? heh
