Default misfortune with my 00 si

So to start... my si started burning oil like 20k ago... im a full time student and work full time aswell so i havent really had a chance to take her apart to find out whats going on. 3 weeks ago im driving down the 10 freeway and i just feel a massive power loss and started decellerating my check engine light started flashing and i knew i was fucked . i got home and did a compression check on her.. and had no compression on the # 2 cylinder i decided to take her apart 2 days ago cuz i finally got a chance too... and my end results were a broken valve and a bunch of other burnt valves in addition i had some pretty bad carbon build up considering that i did a decarb service only 7k ago.. im guessing what happen was since i had so much carbon on my pistons it just made my cumbustion chamber temp really high and burnt the **** out of my valves.. and my oil consumption... since it was like...a quart every 3 days for like 150 miles im guessing my oil rings were bad.. i still need to take the bottom block apart...

you cant be serious you look for a loss of oil on the dipstick. if you are losing oil and you dont have a leak you are burning it!!!!! hell, if ya check the oil and it is going down you have a problem somewhere..........this is amazing. you are the reason we call it a "DIPSHIT stick" at my shop.

If you need any advice I just rebuilt my bottom end. Everything is still very fresh in my mind. I blew the ringlands in all my cylinders and had low compression. I wasn't burning oil though. Good luck with it and all.

you gotta find the properties of his links and manually type them in, at least I had to.

Is that carbon build up that bad? Maybe they aren't good pics or I don't knwo what i'm talking about, just curious. Seemed like normal blackness as far as the pics I've seen on here, never taken an SI apart myself.
