Realistically it's hard to tell the difference in handling. Sway bars are specifically designed to reduce body roll, and they pretty much only do that.
If you have 2 sway bars, you will have less body roll... meaning more amount of tires touching the ground and better tractions.
If you have 1 sway bar (always the rear at least on an FWD vehicle), then you will have more oversteer. This also amounts to better handling, but you will gain body roll or sometimes sustain the same body roll as you once had with a stock sway bar setup.

Not so much hardcore, but you'll definitely never notice it regular driving.
When I get around to doing my sway bars I'm going to do the front and rear for the sole purpose of eliminating body roll. There are a few combinations you can try though.
Key: 0 = No Sway // 1 = Stock Sway // 2 = ST Sway
1) 1 / 1 (Stock Steer, Stock Body Roll)
2) 0 / 1 (More Oversteer)
3) 0 / 2 (More Oversteer, Less Body Roll)
4) 1 / 2 (Stock Steer, Less Body Roll)
5) 2 / 2 (Less Oversteer, Much Less Body Roll)
What you want to do is up to how you drive. If you autocross I would probably do option 4. If you daily drive this car I would probably do option 5. It's safe to take off your front sway bar as it sits, so give it a shot and pick which option you're wanting.

you have it backwards. if a car only has one sway bar, it is usually the front. and to add a thicker one in the back causes slightly more understeer.
also, this is one of the best/least expensive suspension mods you can do. why do you think all the 3g integra people get an itr rear sway? it improves handling. read any thread in the archives reviewing an itr rear sway install, and you will see, they all say it handles like a completely different car.

I don't think so, I believe I'm close to the proven truth.

"If you are going to set up your car for Solo II and have already done some suspension and tire changes. The most effective setup is to loosen off or use adjustable end links on your front anti sway bar and replace your rear anti sway bar with a larger 19 - 22 mm after market bar. Factory G2 Integra suspension is designed to under steer for safety reasons. Correct anti sway bar tuning for autocross will assist in reducing under steer in corners and promote a more neutral handling car. The front anti sway bar on G2 Integra’s is stiff enough. Increasing the front ends roll stiffness beyond stock does not increase traction or grip through the front tires, it only reduces perceived body roll while cornering."

actually, youre right on that count. i had them backwards. a larger front will cause more understeer.
however, the rear is puny and can stand to be upgraded, track or no track.
go look at the underside of any base civic or crx, and you will see that they come with a front sway, but not a rear sway.

this is the 3rd theard this week on sway bars??????
well like i posted in the other ones, i just installed my 98 spec itr rear sway bar(23mm) with the beaks kit. my stock one was only 14mm big difference! i noticed a immidiate difference right away OVERSTEER that is. I did some research before i bought the sway bar and i found that getting a bigger front sway will cancell the effect of upgrading the rear!! so i just offed to buy the rear only.
not hard to install either, theres theards on here to show you how to install it your you could PM to. IMO i would go with the itr, only cost my 99 bucks. but to each is own so have fun with the upgrades
PS: got my itr sway bar here http://store.yahoo.com/yhst-14....html
