IMO Carfax is a bunch of bs. I work at a small used car dealership and we bought a 99 camaro rs from a junkyard with the rear bumper pushed all the way to the back seat. We rebuilt the car and the owners son drove it for one year, wrecking it three times in the process. We then sold the car, and it still had a clean carfax! Last month we bought a 2001 Civic ex at auction, the car came clean on carfax but when we couldnt sell it becuase when a potential buyers bank ran the vin through insurance companies they were not able to get a loan beacause th car had been wrecked twice with a combined $15,000 in body work. The first time it had been stolen.
