OK, what can you do about a busted TPS on the throttle body (or whatever the hell it is called that is always busted on imported engines).

Which ones can I use to replace it? And what else needs to be done to get them to work??

This is on my B16 1st Gen. that I got last weekend.

Take one off a civic or your old engine or an integra. The tough part, at least for me is adjusting it. You have to use a volt meter.

About the middle of the page. .5 at idle and 4.5 with the throttle plate fully open. A second set of hands are usefull here.

To get it off, notch it with a dremel and use a flat head.

But I don't think that the Prelude one will work since it is not a VTEC engine.

I printed out the other one, thanks!

Cool, that works ......

Are there any others that will just swap right in without having to reset it???

I might end up going to a junk yard and getting a sensor from there, then re-volting it.

Would a newer VTEC equipped car be better to get the sensor from, or will it not work because it is OBD1 or 2???

I'm using a 1st gen integra one on a D16Z6 with a 90 si ecu in a 89 std. I think has long as it plugs into the harness and fits on the TB then it'll most likely work.

As long as it's off of an intake manifold that uses 4 injectors, it'll work.
