Ok, I'm sort of in a dilemma here. I was in a recent accident, and my driver side fender is pretty much fucked. I took it to the body shop and got an estimate of about $1700 in damage. I was goin' to send it into the body shop and get it all fixed. (They were going to replace my front bumper, fender, respray it all including my doors to blend it in), but I was looking at some JDM front ends for the similar price. So i decided to get the insurance to send the check to me. Now i'm sort of debating if i should just go through with the JDM front, or use the insurance check, plus the money i saved up, to finish through with my turbo build.
The downside to that will be my car will still have the fucked up fender and partially my bumper, but I'll atleast be seein' some boost.
Or I could just save my money and go boost later (Let's say Winter 2005 or Spring of 2006) and just rock the JDM front.
Which one would you guys go for?
Btw, here's a pic of the damage to my car:

Its actually worse in person.

Metal jdm front... if you like the one piece headlights, and into that "JDM" look... you can get it all fixed for probably less than a grand, (if the pics show all damages) good luck man.
I used to have the conversion on my dc2

Dont think twice about this.
BOOOST IT!
You can throw on a used fender w/ no dents and just have somebody respray it cheap (w/ orange peel i guess).
Forget the jdm stuff. All go and maybe a teeny bit of show (wheels)
Im in san jose too btw

Red & black.
IM getting rid of one of them. It doesnt really matter which one, but i prefer to keep the blk b/c nobody wants a beater :-)

Soon as i sell either of them im going to spend a little on a better suspension (different coils & itr sway bar) along with maybe getting a paint job or keep doing spot jobs haha

Well its 1700, + an additional 1700 that i saved up. Which essentially is 3400 bucks. Which is more than enough for a turbo kit that i found.
Anyways, as for the one who wanted amber corners. I got a spare set at my house. Give me a PM and we can work something out.

Boost it foo!!!
Over here I had a similar accident with my car but on the passenger side. I went to the junkyard, and picked up a bumper and fender for a total of 125 bucks, and that included everything. I spray painted it myself, and most people cant tell. So I am satisfied with that, and am going to boost my car when I save up enough!
