My story after buying konis for my EK from HT sponsor ExtremePowerOuters
You guys can form your own opinions on whether or not to do business with him or not, but here's my story...
1) I pay for a set of koni yellows from him back in mid June. My order was for a set for a 98 Civic
2) He shipped quickly to my freight forwarding address in Miami. (BTW, I live in Barbados).
3) In the meantime, I order a bunch of other suspension parts. It takes a while but eventually I get everything I want.
4) Also during this time, my freight forwarder was keeping all my orders, so that he could ship everything to me all one time - saves me money on shipping.
5) I get everything last week, and plan to start my install during this week (which would put it at a mid Sept install).
6) Front shocks went on fine. Good. However, during the L-side rear shock install I discover that the koni fork is about 10mm too wide. I double check the part number on the Koni website, and, low and behold, he's sent me the wrong shocks.
7) I immediately sent an email outlining the situation, and ask for an exchange. And even though this is completely his error, I say that I'll pay for shipping direct to Barbados + shipping to get the wrong parts back to him.
8) No response by email. (Mind you - during the sale, he was all over that keyboard with his replies).
9) I find him online here. Basically he said that I waited 'too long' & that even if he was to take it back, I would incur a 'restocking fee'!!!!!
Hold on. Who's error was this again?!?!
OK, it's been 3 months, but it's not as if koni have changed their design. The shocks are still new, never used! ...Surely, you can understand my desire for wanting to save $$ on shipping, & keeping my orders in Miami (for a couple months) until everything else was ordered & arrived?
At the end of the day, I will NEVER buy from these guys again.

Too wide? Just use a washer. I remember years ago when I bought Tociko blue shocks. I guess they were for EG's and EK's because it came with 2 thick washers for each side for my EK application.

When you pay over 400 bucks for a set of shocks, I'd damn well expect world class service and the correct parts to be shipped. **** using washers....I'd want the right parts.

Don't have experience with that vendor I went through Chris @ Red Shift Motorsprots when I got my Konis. He was awsome, had my konis sent to me and when Ground Control drop shipped me the wrong rear spring rate coil over he was right there when I needed info and he offered to replace it for me with the right one but it was such a little difference (they sent 420 in wanted 450) that I said not to worry about it.
I was thinking of buiding a couple spacers/washers, but not sure whether it would affect the integrity of the shock/suspension & its function?...
In truth, I just want the shocks I ordered!

You really could use washers, it wouldn't be that big of a deal. As long as you have them sized properly (diameter and thickness) there won't be any issues. Of course, it would be nice to just have the correct thing, but if the dirtbag doesn't comply, it's not the end of the world.

Since when? This is tech, bump away! Bump, bump, bump... for the OP. I was looking into buying from them, but not anymore. I'll spread the word about them ******* people over.

i've had bad experiences from sellers also. pretty much all im trying to say is that you take a big risk when you by online unless you really really really know they are one of the best or i would just go to a shop. just my opinion
yeah, i feel u on that dood, u can use washers and ****, but its a whole lot better when u pay for parts that u order specifically for your car. sucks man
**Update**
OK, it looks like EPO is willing to put things right. I'll let you know whether he pulls through...
EDIT: Nope, never did. My advise to anyone reading this, don't buy from these guys!

Those rear shock are most likely make for an Integra. I had the same problem when i purchase some kyb shock. I just used washers to fill the gab and 30k miles later they work fine...
