Im on a budget and it seems like DIY is the way to go for me? Has anyone here had complete success with this? Im gonna buy and make everything piece by piece so it should take a while. But one thing im not going cheap on is the turbo. IM buying that brand new.

i guess u could build ur own full race. probably costs u like 3hundred bucks compared to the 1XXX amount... but how are ur welds compared to theres? i say save all ur money until u have atleast 2-3K dollars... that way when u piece one by one, ur first piece might be old school stuff... i say be patient and then... or u could do what i did, wast a gang of money... do it right the first time....

Mcmaster.com has the sch40 piping you'll need for a manifold. Regular steel will work fine. It lets more heat out, which decreases energy put into the turbo a bit. For <$100 you could make a simple steel tubular log manifold. Honestly, I'd go with a prefabed stainless mani.

The charge piping & dp can be made easily, look into mandrel bends at summitracing.com
