Default OBD0 TO OBD1 QUESTION ABOUT SPEED SENSOR

question.. when doing the obd0 to obd1 conversion on a crx what do you do about the electronic speed sensor thank you

The speedo in the gauge cluster generates a speed signal that goes to the ecu, so it's the same as the stock wiring. Don't worry about it.

oh really i thought the cable tranny speedo wouldnt work.. and since the obd1 ecu and wiring has an electrical speedo wouldnt work right.. or am i wrong .. and vtec wont open if the speedo is not working properly

you don't need to worry about it. stick your cable driven speed sensor in and that its. The Cluster will send the signal to the ECU for VTEC

did you guys both do the same thing and it worked fine.. i just didnt see how the reading from the cluster would work i kno sometimes a speedo problem results in a loss of vtec..

I don't know what you need to figure out. Two people have already told you it will work.

The cable speedo has electrical outputs that go to the ECU. Just get your conversion harness and it'll work.

I don't think it will. The 02 sensor is still 1 wire. The fuel injectors you will need to run obd1 (if you didn't already know) And your picture sucks so I can't tell you how what other connectors are present (that are needed). Get a close up of the wires on the lower left (there is like 4 plugs there at teh end of the wiring loom)
