I have sprayed a 75shot on my gsr, with a zex kit and had no problem. Of course with the zex kit it only sprays at WOT. I used an MSD window switch so I didnt hit fuel cut under nitrous.

I had my window switch set at 4500rpm and cut at 7900rpm just so it was all out of the engine by the time i hit 8200rpm (redline)

thanks guys. You guys have been a great help. since i didnt include anything on what i plan on doing, i would like to tell everyone. i hope to clarify anything for future posters.

i do not plan on maxing out the motor's capability to use nitrous, so i guess i should be safe running about 25-40 shots? i am planning on a progressive setup, so i can spray different shots at different RPM ranges to achieve even power gain throughout the power band. my goal is not to make crazy amounts of power, but to make up for the torque our vtec motor loses at the low end and maybe a small gain on the top end while keeping a smooth transition in the car's driving characteristics.

just a real complicated way of saying MORE POWER!!!!!!!! LMAO. GSRs are good to about 300 ish+ WHP. 100 shot range you would prolly be fine as long as your careful.

My thing is finding out your power to the wheel and divide by 2 and shoot at that....
so say a gsr stock would be 150/2=75 shot

75 shot seems like such a big number. or maybe i am just not used to it. what is it about nos that other ppl tend to have problems with resulting in the motor blowing up?

its all in tuning. I ran a 90-100 shot plate system on a 01 stock gsr motor. My buddy Jason over at Rage tuned it very well. That motor lasted me a long time. It would see palmdale every Friday and 2 bottles a night. Good luck to ya guy

umm nitrous isnt hard to tune and generally the jets that nx or NOS reccomends usually are a good start.
