DIY removal of seized LCA bushings (without press)
Here's a quick write up I did on how I removed my Integra bushings withoug a shop press.
The total process took about 2 hours ( hour per side, mostly)
Enjoy!
PS...there is a special bonus at the end of the write up.
Thanks,
Chris

no surprise. just a bonus.
incase you guys wanted to save some cash, you can get the proper LCA bushings from honda (as opposed to the more expensive acura dealer).
the link has the part number there.

just read it...it's a nicely done diy
though torching and beating it out have been done before.
Also, I'm not sure about shaving down the lca hole to ease the new bushing in.
but like I said, it's a nice diy with good pics

i shaved the hole down to the point that i could get maybe 2-3mm of the bushing in without any hassle. The rest, I tapped it ( about 15 minutes of tapping with the hammer and impact socket) I was very careful when honing out that hole. I wouldn't want the bushing to slip out underload.
Thanks for the kind words.
