white smoke...help please with experiences and suggestions
my car recently started to have white smoke coming out of the exhaust and kinda in the engine bay(dont know where) after i turboed it for about two months... when i turn the car on when its cold, it idles high for awhile then after the temp gets to the middle, then white smoke starts coming out with a bad idle...the car is not fully tuned because my buddys WB died and we didnt finish tuning it...we just had a few runs on the autotune mode using crome....i dont think this is my prob though because it wasnt doing this b4...and my plugs looked perfect and the car ran perfect till about a week ago...now the plugs are black with just a little white ring on the tip...all the plugs look exactly the same...the temp gauge goes higher then b4...sometimes almost 3/4th all the way...havent had a compression test or leakdown done yet...the only thing i can think of is im leaking coolant from somewhere...this is a completely stock motor never taken apart b4...all it has is turbo and skunk2 manifold...give me some imput please with opinions and experieces
how do plugs look if motor is leaking coolant?
how does coolant smoke smell like?
where can i be leaking coolant from?
UPDATE:
okay a little update on my troubles....today i bought a compression tester...my compression read only 170 though ....it read it across the board though...isnt this way too low for a stock gsr?...we used the same compression tester and put it on my buddies stock b20vtec and it read 175 across the board...my compression should be higher then his...i know forsure that it is burning coolent because the white smoke and u can see mist on the tip of the muffler...coolant level also decreases...any ideas on where its leaking or what is going on guys?...i left the rad cap open and i didnt see any bubbles, is this test accurate to see if the headgasket is still good?...help me out guys

definately coolant leaking...it does burn white, and if its on your plugs then its definately leaking. stock gsr compression should be AT LEAST 200psi, if not around 220-240 across the board. probably just need a new headgasket.
Have you checked your oil lately? Go check it and tell me if it looks like chocolate milk..... I'll wait to tell you headgasket until you return.
i check my oil frequently and change it frequently. looks perfectly fine. the level is fine also so i know im not burning any oil.
yea i knew what he meant. i said i check it frequently and it looks perfectly fine. not milky at all. the coolent doesnt burn fast though. i only notice a lower coolent level if i drive it for a few days.
