JDM P30 will run it like OEM.
chipped P28 will get rid of the need for the knock sensor wiring but will require tuning to run perfect.

the cam specs state that you're loosing 10* on the intake side.

On a N/A engine, loosing 10* of duration on a cam allows air to flow in or out of the cylinder for less time, thus creating less power.
there are exceptions to this but it is a general rule of thumb.

Does this mean that the b16a1 cams will loose 10 hp, or the b18c1 cams will. Are you refering to the motor loosing 10 hp with a p30 ecu???

this has little to do with the ECU.
and 10* does not mean 10hp. degrees of lift duration does not linearly correspond to the power produced by the engine.

the B16A cams have 10* more duration on the intake cam than the B18C1 cams.

IMO the A1 cams would be better for N/A. More intake duration means more air in the cylinder which more fuel can be added, which means more power.
I've heard that the C1 cams are good for boost.
