Default Type R 98 mission

I never thought it would such a mission to buy a 98 type but it’s been about 3 months now. Maybe it’s just not the right time or maybe because I’m being picky. 98, low miles, clean title, no major mods I don’t think so. Help

Tried searching in:

The harder you look, the more anxious and disappointed you become. I think that the key to finding a "good" one is luck and timing. As with marriage, don't settle.

What are you willing to invest if you don't mind me asking?

Also, try Cars.com (almost as good as Autotrader).

They are just like 7-Eleven...there when you don't want them..no where to be found when you do

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/...st=11

This is one I have been looking at in Northern VA. Low miles, no mods, good price. You could have it shipped for around 1k I would think

Took me a while to find mine as well. I came across too many that were overpriced, too far away, too abused or the sellers just dragged their feet.

Dam it’s like everyone knows how I feel. I’ll try to be as patient as I passably can. Well looking to spend no more then $15,500. I should be able to find a nice one with this amount I think. Thanks for the support

I definitely think you should be able to find a very nice 98' ITR for that price. Just be patient, take your time, and check all your bases. It took me 4 months just to find my 99' GS-R, so just sit tight, the "perfect" one will come along.

I know its their car and yatta yatta, but seriously, come on. Theres no way in hell you can argue they look better than the OEM ambers. Well you could argue but you wouldnt be successful. I know the EDM integras come with teh clear but even those are ugly too, the only thing you could say about those is they are better quality and wont leak like the lame aftermarket clears. Anyone rockin them on an R doesnt deserve the car, due to the fact that they have no taste when it comes to aesthetics.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Opinions are like ********, everybody's got one.

The clear corners on my car were on it when I got it and I haven't bothered to take them off.

But they are growing on me, the clear flows with the clear lenses of the headlight plastics and doesn't clash with the color of the car like the amber.

Either way, I'm not going to spend money on aesthetics, I'm about 'go' and not 'show.'

If I come across a set for cheap I might throw them on at some point and sell the clears to some ricer.

lol

It's funny that you mention this, because you were singing a different tune in this thread HERE

What happened with you agreeing that it was just a car and to, 'get over it?'
