EDIT: You're right, I found it.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> What mods are planned? </TD></TR></TABLE>

The car already has (not that I agree with them) a DC 4-1 Header, Comptech Ice Box, Magnaflow High Flow Cat., Greddy Catback and Eibach springs.

I'll probably throw that DC header into the garbage and get a nice Hytech or Comptech 4-2-1 header.

Then I'll get rid of the eibach springs and put in a decent tein shock and coilover kit.

I was also thinking about getting some 16" rotas to compliment the new suspension.

I was thinking about putting in a JRSC at some point (This has to be a reliable daily driver) or just getting some Toda B Cams, having the ECU remapped with a competent dyno tuner and calling it a day.

Thoughts?

According to the sticker inside the driver's side door where the VIN is located, it reads, 'GVWR 3680 lbs' so I assume this is the curb weight?
</TD></TR></TABLE>

GVWR is the max Loaded weight, as in max weight of the vehicle including load or whatever you pack it up with.

The R weighs a good thousand lbs less than your GVWR.

I weighed mine at 2560 a few years back before any major weight reduction mods.

Congrats man. Actually made a tear come to my eyes since my old PY R was stolen 1 year ago today.

With the JRSC setup, some have problems some dont. My car ran GREAT on the stock kit until my walbro fuel pump died, and started having detonation. I replaced it, however, I still detonated (still not sure why). I now have a hondata, dont detonate, but need tuning because I am running to lean for FI.

I know it may be a shameless plug, but you said you may think about a standalone-- I have a brand new hondata s100 w/boost for sale.

Good luck with the caR.

Personally I'd keep the DC 4-1 over the Comptech 4-2-1...

I'm not sure about selling anything just yet, I've got some thinking to do. I still have to decide what my goals are, then I have to spec out my engine package. Once I'm done with that, then I'll see what goes and what stays.

In the even that I decide to sell it and considering that it's ceramic I probably wouldn't ask more than like $200+ shipping for it.

I agree. The Comptech header really isnt that great. For a N/A setup go with the DC 4-1 if budget is an issue.
