circuit 8..... well right now i have the shiny gunmetal circuit 8 15's on my car.. and i wanna just put the 16's with 40 series tires.. and kinda slam it alittle.. with the 15's its running on 50 series tires and when i slam it.. my ****** header is to low.. bad ground clearance... so im thinkin if i slappin on 16's so i can goo alittle lower.... i know its gonna be the same ****.. but i want a clean kinda slam ride...

Wouldn't 15's with 50 series be almost the same ground clearance as 16's with 40 series tires?

yeah 15s with 50 series tires will be basically the same as 15s with 40 series tires.

all depends on what you want? clean, slammed, rough and banged up under carriage or nice smooth ride where you aint hitting ****..

i had mine slammed on 16's with 40 series, and that looked great, but i hit everything on the road.. it was annoying.. f****d up my oil pan, cross member, and other things.. just not fun..

now im running 15 rota slips on 195/55-15s. i wanted 50 series, but my dad was paying, and he wanted 55 series, so oh well.. still got top of the line Michelins

and doesnt look as bad as i thought.. and its lowered on Eibach Prokits..

someone tell me how to post a pic..

sure 16's do look better than 15's.. but you gotta ask yourself, is it about form or function? or a little of both.. i prefer more function.. i need as much performance i can get.

only thing with 16's with 40 series, you're swerving skills will definitely get a lot better. lol.

I'll post pics later of my car.. off to class.

I'd never use 40 series tires on any nice rim, unless you live in a place where all the roads are perfect. Which I don't.

15's are lighter than 16's. As far as I'm concerned this is all that really matters.

No ****. I think you should first consider that this specific thread refers to no other wheels than Rota Circuit 8's, then save your comments for situations when they're actually relavent.

I love the 15" look with my 205-50-15 tires. I like having meaty looking tires. Just a preference.

16 is still a good size so basically its up to what color you like better. Thats how i would make my decision.

I have 15s on my car and people allways think they are at least 16s because of the 2" drop. IMO 15's are superior because they are lighter (between 15s and 16s that are the same), and you can run a taller sidewall. Anything less than a 50 series sux to drive on the road.

16's look much better. 15's are too small, unless you're really going for performance..

If you put two tegs next to each other with the same wheels/tires on, but one 15" wheels and the other 16, you wouldn't know which was which unless you stood there for a minute looking back and forth.

15s IMO. They're cheaper and lighter than 16s. There's also more tire selection with 15s than 16s.

Yes, because we're all looking into slamming our cars.
