Hey guys i may be new to the site but not new to the car world, i am an s2ki man myself and run a swapped ep3 as my daily driver but a buddy of mine has a ek with a b16 and we are having problems so i decided to turn to you all. When he starts the car it revs up to about 4k and then drops to 1k then revs to about 2500 and repeats and when ever you come to a stop or are below 2500 it bounces up and down. this is a new problem to me and any idea would be appreciated.

does the actual motor rpms bounce or is it just the tach thats jumping??
