Default track time h23/vtec

best run of the nite on bfg's @ 30psi

60':2.235
330:6.048
1/8:9.207
MPH: 79.82
1000:11.934
1/4:14.228
MPH 97.98

i feel i could have done a lot better but i currently have two really upper ***** joints which caused some wheel hop and i shouldnt even have been running but anyways the car weighed in at 2556 with me in it.

mods:

ebay intake
fidanza 8lb flywheel
act 6 puck springless with heavy duty pressure plate
header-tech custom stepped header with 3" collector
3" full exhaust
head milled .010" (9.5:1 compression)

stock bottom end and head.

Yup, we have a 1/4 mile thread for a reason...

And I'm very close to calling BS, but not quite. I don't see how you could possibly be trapping that high and running that quick with an H23 VTEC that is obviously running OEM H23 pistons, and just a handful of other boltons. Sure you have DR's, but your 60' still sucks with them so the extra traction's not the reason.

^^ he has a point. not body kits.

ok, now recommend a VAFC if you plan on using the M2S4 H23 tranny much more. otherwise you will overrev the motor trying to get the motor to stay in Vtec between shifts.

and if you have a VAFC... then what did you have it set on and you need to fix your suspension......

no vafc and im saving up for the control arms because honda sucks monkey ***** and only sells the whole control arm which cost me $136.00 at my local dealer a piece!!! yes im still running a m2s4 tranny and only shift to 7200 only falls out of vtec on the 1-2 shift otherwise im fine... one of my buddies is selling his vafc for $150 i'll prob drop vtec to 4500 rpms or so and i'll be looking at a high 13 second pass if i could get the bish to stop hopping...

believe it or not, the header imo is whats making me trap so high....according to my "butt dyno" it made the most improvements from vtec on....this is a full race street header, not sure how it would compare to a smsp, or rmf, but im very content with it....i trapped at 91.25 non vtec if i remember correctly.
