My '91 CRX got stolen in San Diego yesterday sometime between the hours of 0630 and 1545. For those of you familiar with the area.. it was on B St. parked jut before the bridge of San Diego City College. Sucks man... I went to work and when I walked back the car was gone. It had the single cam ZC motor in it which is probably the only thing worth taking. ARGHH... why couldn't they buy their own ****... oh yah.. I've only had the car for about a month!!! I wonder if they'll recover it (I should have poseted pics so you guys can keep an eye out for it..) well thanks for letting me vent....

REMEMBER-- install more anti-theft devices; I had an alarm but we all know alarms dont do much... at least a fuel cut off or something. Theres too many CRXs getting taken nowadays....

naw... I only had the car four abuot a month so I wasn't able to take pictures of it... all I can offer is a brief description fo the car: its a '91 CRX Si with Nissan Sentra rims (at least thats what I've been told.. it came with the car). The car is black but has heavy oxidation on the roof. The left fender is midnight blue and the rear bumper is grey. The driver side door has a huge scratch on the upper part; license plate # 5LND265 and is registered until January 2006. If you happen to see it let me know and be sure to punch that F#@&ER for me!

 

Fuel cut toggle in the drivers side little compartment behind the seat. You can reach it from the drivers seat no problem and a thief will never look there when the car doesn't start the first couple times.

 

Even though I am in the LA area I will still look just need pics. You never know where these people drive to

 

wow sorry to hear that.. my buddy got his built h22 EG Si stolen from outside a club.. he didnt want to take it .. but his girlfriend insisted.. cleanest eg ive seen on the streets.. well sorry man.. hope you get your car bacc.. or somthiing good happens to you in the near future

technically (not be rude) but its a 91 CRX Si there are more parts to steal on it then one would assume

all i can say is I hope you get it back intact. Hopefully they just saw a part or two they wanted.

A thief isn't going to sit and try and find out why a car don't start. Unless its out in the middle of nowhere and no one is around to get pissed that someone is trying to start a car at 3AM and waking them up.

Plus thieves can't afford luxuries like computers and internet.

hey man same **** happened 3 days ago for me.

white crx parked out front of my place. ... b16 motor suspension and rims/tires!

heres the kicker though... they did a burnout from where it was parked down my street! those *******!

watch out in oc area!

UPDATE... Well the car was finally recovered last night... bad news! The car has been completely stripped but I'm not too sure how bad... I'm assuming all thats left is a rolling chasis. I'm going to the tow yard tomorrow afternoon to see just how bad this is... if anyone is interested in picking up a shell though heres the link:

I wasn't able to get nor see the car because it is under investigations with Chula Vista Police department... they said they were do some fingerprinting or something so I wasn't allowed to even go up to the car until it gets dusted. Anyways, the report, according to the receptionist at the tow yard, said it is completely stripped--its missing motor, tranny and mounts, all of the interior, and three window (I'm assuming its the both rear glass and hatch! Damn... hopefully the theives left some prints!

 

to many crx's are getting stolen nowadays... anybody have any ideas to try to prevent this from happening to our cars.. i've been look at the Alpha Lock.. which locks around the tires of my car plus i put 2 different types of wheel locks on each rim plus i got the autolock on my Clutch... hopefully it'll keep them away from my rex
