..or you can do this...take out one spark plug....after spark plug is out then reconnect your plug wire to it...let it hang..have someone crank it..you should see the spark jump the gap...if it dosn't your dizzy needs to be rebuilt or new one.

Not jacking your thread, but I'm having the same issue w/a Rex I just purchased recently.

At first wasn't getting any fuel since the pump had gone bad. Changed the fuel pump and fixed that issue. Next issue was that my it was way off in timing so now that's resolve car is back in timing, but it still just cranking over.

The cranking doesn't seem to be all that powerful either. Car was sitting for like 2yrs. I've used good known ignition parts from my hatch only part I haven't changed is the Dizzy. If anyone knows anything else I can do LMK.

According to my friend he states might be a bent valve, but I'm not so sure about that.

im sure it's not a bent valve...do what i said in my previouse post. see if your getting a spark. you should also run a compression and leak down test. try spraying starter fluid through the IM to.

I'm going to swap out the Dizzy shortly because it's the only thing that I haven't swapped over as of yet. Last time spark was coming through. Compression test performed and came back good; I'll redo the compression test and retry. No, leak down test performed.
