i have 5 lug on my car.. just put it on.. when i got it the axles where still in the hubs i tried taking them out then but i said f--- it and just used those axles.. well my motor through a rod so now i wanna take motor out and use diffrent axles.. well my axles wont come outta the hub.. i've bashed them and bashed them all its doing it putting a flat spot on the end of my axles so now i cant even put an axle nut on them.. how can i get them out?????

 

You should of used a rubber or lead hammer. Normally I put the nut on backwards when doing that do I hit the nut and not the threads. Its cheaper to replace that then the axle.

Did you remove the fork from the lower arm so you have clearance to take them out? Otherwise you would just be pushing the axle into the trans harder.

Otherwise sprap some penetrating oil into the spline area to free it up some.

 

yea i took shock fork off.. i tried taking axles out of hub wehn other end wasnt even attaches to motor and they were def notttt moving... never had this probel b-4... would heating it up do anything?

 

use a penatrant!!! soak em in oil!!

 

The best way that I have found is to use some penetrating oil and get a pneumatic impact hammer with a pointed bit and it comes right out. I have never had one I could not get off.

A rubber mallet and WD40 always worked for me.
