this is my second 5th gen lude and it is the same problem... when i turn the key to start the car it goes "click"... turn again and "click"... just keeps doing it until i get lucky...
anyone know the problem? i have been told it's the starter... but i also have been told that if it is the starter, it should still crank but not start... so is it the starter or something else??

it's your starter. the clicking noise is your solenoid poppin out but its not spinning the flywheel it's a common problem on starters.
