Default VtecKidd Project Log 2.0L LSVTEC *Stock 88HF to NA Street Car*

Well for some time now i have been building a 2.0l LS vtec. I finally found a chassis to put it into several weeks ago. its what i have always wanted, an 88 CRX HF in great shape. picked her up for $500 and she runs and gets GREAT gas mileage I will be taking her from stock to "fully" built in the next few weeks/months as i try an transform her into a NA beast. this will be a long thread so ill update it with as many pics as possible.

heres the Chassis: 1988 CRX HF
Mine is on the Left, JohnZM is on the right (old pic)

Omni Suspension Sports (10K/12K):

More pics coming soon, this is gonna be a long one.
Motor Specs:
2.0l LS/VTEC
12:1
Skunk2 Pro3s
RMF header
Rocket Motorsports valvetrain
DFE Ported ITR head

itll be the ultimate street car when im done. 1800lbs, 240whp on pump gas, daily driven, for now h34r:

I would like to thank everyone involved , even though we arent dont yet. key players in this whole ordeal which has taken me close to a year are to complete:
Don Flores of DFE Enterprises
Rocket of Rocket Motorsports
Mike of KTELLER.COM
Randy Monroe of Randy Monroe Fabrications
Charles of Mainstream Performance
Terry at Boostfed.com
Peter aka DexterTheG
ARINX of M24x.com

Goals:
low 12s on slicks (maybe high 11s eventually)
240whp
highest whp B series in GA

honestly i dont know they were just laying around the hop, they came off a friends Civic.

I have the Omni 88 EF sport setup. so the rear is the non fork setup unlike the 89+ EF.

everythign fit like a glove, these are the new 10mm collars as well.

They ride really nice , a little bouncy but enjoyable, its hard to see how they handle cause i only have 64 FLYWHEEL HP on tap right now

i have all 4 wheels, once i find something else to ride on that is my style ill let you know

in the front, YES, in the rear HELL NO.

the front i might be able to get another .5in out of. but the strut is shortened all the way. the new 10mm collars kinda prohibit it from being SLAMMED on the ground. but remember those are 13in wheels in the front, the 16s are tucked nicely.

with a B series motor that weighs 80lbs more, it should drop a little more

240whp +1800lbs on slicks should = high-mid 11's. This seems like its going to be a nice project and a very long thread lol. One question, how were you able to get ahold of those Pro 3 cams? arent those only released to race teams? good luck.

I know what it SHOULD hit, but it will take me some time to get me ETs down. I would be happy with low12s (12.1-12.2)

I know some people that know some people thats how i got Pro3s

Nice project man. Where'd you find Omni's for a crx? A friend of mine said he couldn't find em anywheres.
