installed? dude, its plug and play, get some help unless you have 4 arms.

sunny stylings are very nice, they have a tight weave pattern, good quality too.

 

Actually thats not true so give yourself the " " i have found a couple of hoods that are not OEM and need drilling to install

 

i would just like to add, the only thing i dont like about Fiber Images is that the carbon fiber doesnt wrap over the edges, looks really ugly at the edges.

For somebody who emptied their pocket into a $500 hood, I think it might be pretty hard to want to bust out a drill and put holes in it.

 

Ok once again give yourself a I have added things to my car that needed modification. Some how its never the same. You do what you want but i'll stick to OEM bolt on

 

Fiber Images is probably the best for the money, but Benen is probably the best there is period.

 

I'm sorry but fiber images is garbage compared to Benen.. If you have the money to get a CF hood, don't settle for cheap ****. Benen is by FAR the best on the market.. There is no fiberglass on their hoods period..

yes, the fiberimage does not fit good! If you want a good fit your gonna have to shell out some dough.

Yep, I have seen several FI hoods that fit excellent.

 

I have an Area 51 hood and I love it. Robbie Montinola has one for his type R and the fitment is great on his as well.

 

Does anyone know what the benen hood retails for, or who carries them?

 

I wish my fiberimage fit like the pictures above. It sticks up a 1/2 inch from the passenger fender and I can fit my finger in between both sides of the hood and fenders. I've adjust the latch and mounts but other than that......
